I make things with digital media and computational tools. Currently I am working on software sketches and prototypes to interpret, tag, organize, edit, share or interact with digital photos and video. My long-term goal is to develop new ways of visually representing and synthesizing multiple points of view. My past work includes developing networked tools for editing and browsing online video (using lightweight Java applet interfaces and server-side media processing engines) and designing an interface for visualizing concordance within multiple videos. I have a master's degree in Media Arts and Sciences and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering, both from MIT. At the MIT Media Laboratory, I studied under John Maeda at the Physical Language Workshop and Glorianna Davenport in the Interactive Cinema group.
